Message from the Dean: College Hires New Development Director
Greetings alumni and friends!
I'd like to tell you about the new development director that we hired in the College of Architecture and Design.
His name is Tierney Bates and he is an alumnus of this university and formerly worked in development for the College of Engineering. He understands how important it is for alumni to be engaged with their alma mater and with the unit from which they graduated. In these tough times, alumni support is more important than ever.
The college has two years left to raise $6 million, and Tierney has hit the ground running to complete that goal. Tierney's predecessor, Paul Bowman, reached out to many of you and got the momentum moving. I am confident that Tierney is who we need to keep that energy going.
I am excited about his plans for moving forward with college fundraising and for you all to meet him. I am confident you will find him to be the dedicated go-getter that will help this college become an even more successful design program.
