UT Architecture and Design Students Receive Scholarships and Awards

December 10, 2009

KNOXVILLE -- The College of Architecture and Design at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, recently celebrated the achievements of its students and the generosity of its alumni and donors at its annual honors convocation. The event is a chance for the college to honor students for their accomplishments and thank sponsors for their donations and support.

More than 70 students from incoming freshman to graduate students received over $160,000 in monetary awards and scholarships.

"Our students are some of the most intelligent scholars on campus and it is important to the college that they are rewarded for their hard work," said John McRae, dean of the College of Architecture and Design.
