Research Areas
Garry Menendez is a registered landscape architect, whose primary focus is on residential and small commercial design including hardscape, planting design and spatial layout and circulation. In addition, his research is also directed toward representation focusing on hand drawn sketches and color rendering.
Research Projects
-Using local real site situations to allow students to apply base mapping, site analysis, and design and presentation skills.
-Bringing his private practice expertise to the classroom as recent and relevant case studies.
-Developing study abroad opportunities to allow students to expand design skills and knowledge of exemplary European Gardens .
