The University of Tennessee campus is situated near downtown Knoxville at the intersection of the I-40 and I-75. The College of Architecture and Design is located in the Art and Architecture Building on Volunteer Boulevard, which cuts through the middle of the university campus.
Where to Park on Campus
Where are you coming from?
From the Knoxville Airport:
• Follow U.S. 129 (Alcoa Highway) north to Knoxville
• Take the Neyland Drive exit
• Turn left onto Neyland Drive (158 South)
• Follow 158 S (Neyland Drive/University of Tennessee) to the second traffic light.
• Turn left onto Lake Loudon Boulevard. (Thompson-Boling Arena will be on your right)
• Follow Lake Loudon to the second traffic light.
• Turn right onto Volunteer Boulevard.
• Turn right into Circle Park by the information booth. Stop at the information booth to receive a visitor parking pass.
• With the visitor parking pass, you can only park in the spaces provided along Circle Park Dr.
• The Art and Architecture Building is located across the street from Circle Park at the Lake Loudon Boulevard and Volunteer Boulevard intersection.
From the Atlanta/Chattanooga Area (South):
• Follow I-75 North/I-40 East to Exit 386B (Alcoa Highway 129)
• Merge onto U.S. 129 (towards the Airport and Smoky Mountains)
• Take the Neyland Drive exit
• Turn left onto Neyland Drive (158 South)
• Follow 158 S (Neyland Drive/University of Tennessee) to the second traffic light.
• Turn left onto Lake Loudon Boulevard. (Thompson-Boling Arena will be on your right)
• Follow Lake Loudon to the second traffic light.
• Turn right onto Volunteer Boulevard.
• Turn right into Circle Park by the information booth. Stop at the information booth to receive a visitor parking pass.

• Follow I-40 East to Exit 386B (Alcoa Highway 129)

• Follow 158 S (Neyland Drive/University of Tennessee) to the second traffic light.

• Take the Neyland Drive exit
• Turn left onto Neyland Drive (158 South)
• Follow 158 S (Neyland Drive/University of Tennessee) to the second traffic light.
