College of Architecture + Design Faculty Development Awards
The College has, as one of its highest priorities, an initiative to strengthen Faculty Development. As part of this effort the College has been very fortunate, over the years, to secure several faculty development endowments targeted toward research and scholarly awards. Awards range from approximately $1,000 to $3,500. The purpose of a Faculty Development Award is to help faculty in a specific project or initiative related to an individual's creative work, research, or instructional efforts. Appropriate requests might include any of the following: equipment requests, computer requests, including hardware, peripherals, software, or printing costs, supplies and books, photography requests, travel funds, or funds for student workers as assistants. The Faculty Development Award is in addition to regular College funds made available for conference travel. The award may not be used to fund equipment that the college has purchased for general faculty use. All voting faculty, as outlined in the College By-Laws, are eligible to apply.

Chancellor's Faculty Research Fellowship
Chancellor's Professional Development Award (PDA): Highly competitive research grants that provide up to $5,000 for tenured and tenure-track faculty in all colleges to pursue scholarly research or creative projects.
